Hi guys!

New to the forum but have been brewing for about 2 years now. For me the best method of removing labels was with Oxy clean. Get a bucket, fill it with water from the tap as hot as possible mix in a scoop or two of Oxy clean and let them soak for about 30 mins.

The labels will usually come right off, but some just require some scrubbing. The key is to not let the water cool down or they will stick again!

Hello all,

Cool, so I can brew outside in the shade, good news because I have a very big family sized tent I can set up outside just off our back deck...

OK coach, I'll be the Guinea Pig this time, but next time make Charlie do it... I already bought a portable burner, found it at a local thrift store.
I'll let you know once I get my kettle how it sits on the burner.

Back to outside brewing, using the aforementioned tent.
So if I get high temp silicone tubing, which looks opague when viewed online to drain my wort from the Mash Tun (a coleman ice chest I intend to rebuild) to my brew kettle. Then after the boil, using silicone tubing again from the brew kettle to the glass carboy that I will ferment in (which will be in its own little carboy bag which will I hope keep most of the sunlight off of my beer), then move it indoors asap. I should be OK then - with brewing outdoors. Cool... Anybody have the recipe for Bitburger Pils or Kirner Pils handy?

Thanks guys
